I usually lose interest in a project when I move to another one. I'm always finding new things that I find incredibly interesting to investigate, and then my old project halts. Some time later I realize that I haven't worked on it for some time... and then I also realize that every development detail I had in my head is completely gone. Result: project -> trashcan. It's a real problem...
Luckely I do manage to finish projects professionally
And I'm not dying before I converted one Amiga game using my 2d sprite engine (currently working on the sprite animation and movement timing).
