They also posted patches to remove the intro from scene GBA dumps, and thus convert your dumps to "No-intro" versions too.

Not strictly true. Byuu dumped one of my SNES roms, and found the No-Intro dump had been actually dumped incorrectly, or had been damaged, and the dumper manually fixed it before releasing it as "unaltered".
