It was done to remove thousands of users who had registered, posted once or twice or indeed not at all, and then never visited the site again.

Your account is safe from deletion if you have more than 10 posts, so you and the majority of currently-active users can rest easy.

Non-active members artificially swell the number of registered users and waste RCK's system resources, so you really must accept it as fair.
