The 'Comfy' solution seems overly complicated.

Using a PCMCIA CF card as a FAT16/FAT32 'mass storage device' is much simpler. This does not require a 'boot disk'. You just need to get the drivers installed.

You seem to be mixing up the two different solutions as you have stated you installed the CFD and FAT95 drivers.
