And my host os is Windows 10 Pro, I've set my memory speed to 2933 and all is stable and heck, using a 3200 quad-channel kit from CORSAIR and it seems to be pretty darn stable.

I think speed was really only needed on much older CPU tech, say around the P4 days or even perhaps on the first gen CORE tech.
