Thanks for the reply, meynaf. If I may make a suggestion: I think it would be good to put a README next to the patch archive, and inside the archive too, so that people can find out easily which game version the patch is for and what it exactly fixes.

I initially downloaded the RARed version that lies next to that fix and tried to use that fix on it. I spent a lot of time figuring out why the game doesn't work. The fact that the directory name says "Fix for the cracked version" didn't mean anything to me, at that point. It took me a while until I decided that I could try the patch with the game installed from the generally available ADFs, which finally worked.
