Hi there nzgirl, welcome to the forum!

I'll list some platform games that I love to play heaps. There are so many awesome Amiga games that it's hard to choose the best ones.

Whizz - an isometric platformer that's really fun to play once you've got the hang of the controls)
Nicky Boom 1 & 2 - I love the puzzles in this game
Jimmy's Fantastic Journey - cool hidden bonuses but time limit means you have to be quick
Kid Chaos - smooth, awesome platformer
Globdule - it's a blob that you control around the screen, collecting food to finish the level
