I've been getting a few donations over the past few months and I've been thinking of what to spend it on. Paying for the ISP is so boring so I decided to upgrade the cache ram on the RAID controller from 1GB to 4GB instead.
Will this help EAB? Probably not. But it will increase the life of the disks with more things being cached so.. I dont know. Just thought I'd spend the money you donate on hardware for the FTP instead of beer. =)
In either case, the FTP will be down for an hour or so this weekend while I upgrade and test the new ram.
