This is a great post (bookmarked it).

Is it possible to swap CF cards used and formatted etc in IDE-CF adapter and PCMCIA-CF adapter? ie. could I use HDtool on one in a PCMCIA-CF adapter to get it all set up as a HDD and then fit it internally (or vice versa).

Also, are all PCMCIA-CF adapters "equal" or some more equal than others

I'm looking at this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/190679352240 for my A1200 (and forthcoming A600)
