Yeah, Long diagonal shots, and a staright shoot in the middle of goal, but adding some aftertouch in the last moment were always good ways to score.

But corner scoring is something I didn't see much in SWOS.

Maybe because I didn't play the FIRST version of SWOS, but the one who came later (The 1st version of it was never proper released here, we only got that ugly beta version)
