Thanks for the welcome. I missed the Amiga the first time around (went C64 to Tandy 1000) so I'm enjoying getting caught up now.

Well, it seems the no-longer-relevant question is the only one I can answer: I have kickstart 1.3.

I'm not seeing what the SCSI ROM version is. Any idea where I could look for that? I do know it is a DataFlyer 500 that could be installed in an A2000 as well and I know that it does have the 8MB DataFlyer RAm expansion included.

I also found the "buy a SCSI-IDE bridge and Compact Flash card" response interesting. I have some old CF cards lying around from the Rio mp3 player days - where would I get the SCSI-IDE bridge to use them?
