I am not familiar with Hi Soft Basic, but you could split the conditions into multiple If statements.

Code:
If <CONDITION1> ....
If <CONDITION2> ....

Sometimes it is unavoidable that you need several If statements. For example controlling a character you could have 4 If statements each for moving him/her left, right, up and down.
