It is good that you do not go around making a lot of bets on that. You would quickly end up as a poor man very fast.
A little clue as to why it is not "emulated", is the shadows on all flying objects in the air. That is a new graphics feature for the desktop AOS4, Mac, PC versions, which adds depth to the view field.
Per default it is already enabled, but if not you will find it under options>graphics>shadows on/off
