Does someone know how the total score of the player is calculated?

I noticed that my score gets lesser each time I complete the game.

First round 167244, second 162xxx, third round 155144.
In the second round I died or failed 41 times, in the third round only 20 times, also completing the game in less time seems to result in less points...
