Yeah romvault is quicker mainly due to it only scanning your unknown folder once instead of for every dat like clrmame. Having said that I do prefer clr as a scanner much more control over what's happeneing to my files.

If you use batch mode clr uses the same folder structure as romvault it's just a touch harder to configure
