That's what I thought too.

Mainly 8Mbyte RAM cards and 68EC020 accelerators were PCMCIA unfriendly because they still use the 24-bit address space.

Most (all?) 030 cards put their fast-ram in the 32-bit space and so dont need to overlap the PCMCIA slot.
