WinXP supports 720k floppies, but i think it'll give you a bit of trouble with it. First of all, if you take a High-density disk and just tape up the hole, I don't think that will work for winXP like it works for win98, ect. However, I have been able to get standard double density floppies to work with it. I'm not sure if it works this way though, it's just a theory.
