Wow! Any form of text adventure is something to be encouraged! Great job!
I see most of the work requires manually formatting a lot of text for a lot of locations. Have you considered adding a word-wrapping routine to do the job?

It's really ugly coding, but this, or something similar, could be useful to save you a lot of tedious manual work and give you some extra-time for the rest of your game.
I really hope we have a final version of this Dangermouse game!
