One of the anoyances on the spectrum and cpc was that developers were not taking advantage of 128k systems. So you got games like Turrican that to fair are pretty damn good for the 48k, but could have been so much more if it took advantage of 128k. Something better than blip blop of the spectrum speaker at least. going into the 90s, probe were still putting out games tailored only to the 48k making the spectrum just look something lower than obsolete next to the great titles coming out on c64.
