I recently dug my Amiga 1200 out of the closet and set it up. Everything except the internal floppy drive seemed to work fine. At about the same time I also downloaded WinUAE and started playing around with it. Using Amiga Explorer I copied the contents of my Amiga hard drive to my PC and set up a virtual copy of my Amiga in WinUAE.
About a week ago I replaced the 256 MB hard drive in my Amiga 1200 with a 4 GB compact flash card, and today, following a thread I found here, I fixed my internal floppy drive by replacing a capacitor.
I've missed my Amiga and have had fun working with my physical Amiga again and also my new virtual Amiga.
