Component (ypbpr) is simply rgb "rearranged"
The quality of component is the same as rgb scart, it doesn't have to scale, or convert anything, it simply adds/subtracts the different colour video signals from each other.
Not all tv's will accept the component signal in a direct conversion like this, so no promises to anyone that it will work in their specific application!
