I've been thinking lately of writing an article that explains why the computing industry is the way it is now. I've pretty much traced it back to one particular decision. That was Nolan Bushnell's decision to sell Atari to Time Warner. If it weren't for that, the Amiga would have been owned by Atari, the Video Game crash of '83 probably wouldn't have happened, and Activision also would have remained Atari. Where is Activision now? They still exist and are huge. Where is Atari? Some French company got their name...
