Our timetabling system was written by one of the science teachers on a BBC Micro model B, which was running on SymbNet around the school.
Again, this isn't supposed to be a history of phreaking, its just my story - take it or leave it. I'm certainly not saying I was the first.
And as for coming here just to promote the book, I was actually here 2 years ago (on this very thread) looking for old friends - when WayneK said he knew the "truth" about what happened to me, so I came back to post a link to my "truth" once I had finished the book.
