WHDLoad installs are created for original disk images.
http://whdload.de/games/HumanKillingMachine.html states that the image was provided by Wolfgang Unger and the pre-installed version has to use a compatible image (which means one made from the original disk). I am pretty sure the WHDLoad version is okay
