Well, i may have to if noone has any further ideas on what could be causing the issue. It just seems silly to start posting things about when i have a pronlem that is likely solved by pressing a few buttons though.

The only other thing i can think of myself is Hardware however, in that the brand of the CF card may handle the filesystem differently than other brands, as both cards this happened on were Transcend ones. However, i really don't think this is the case because i'm fairly certain this wouldve been a common problem if it was to do with a particular brand
