Well he's up to £1.1m of the necessary £1.25m so it looks like it's going to be a go ahead idea. Whether it's a good or unique idea is another matter. There's just so many online games at the moment, is there room for one more? Let's hope that David Braben manages to make this version of Elite with something a little different in it that'll take you back to your PC again and again rather like the first one did.
