I'd say that this is pure nostalgia talking, to be honest. The Amiga conversion is GREAT, of course (I played it to death back in the day, that motherf***enkiwibastard) but the arcade original is still superior in all respects. Full screen graphics, larger levels (and more of them) etc.

Amiga Rodland reigns supreme, though. Pac-Mania is perhaps the most striking example of a game in which the Amiga version is (in this case FAR) superior to the arcade original. More forgiving gameplay and graphically way (way WAY) ahead of its arcade parent. Play it in Mame and you'll see what I mean.
