You should have included logs (EDIT: from so called "working" case) earlier because winuae does not attempt to autodetect interlace anymore, Windows must have interlace flag set for selected mode or mode is considered progressive. "i" in vsync calibration = interlaced = frame matching enabled.
EDIT: for some reason calibration adjustement value is lost after mode is "remembered" again. Checking.. (Nothing wrong, it does not matter if minv=1)
EDIT2: Do you mean it only "works" if you select screen mode that does not show "i" in calibration log message?
