DragonFlyBSD has a light weight ports/messaging system which conceptually ressembles the message passing scheme the Amiga exec does. This feature alone heavily enhances performance. The inter process communication of DragonFlyBSD is mostly based on AmigaOS. In fact, many of the system structures and performance enhancing ideas were taken from AmigaOS.

IMHO, DragonflyBSD is a very interesting kernel supporting numerous modern features. It would be a real match made in heaven if we could have an Aros distro running on top of this high performance kernel.
