, which says that long-time AmigaOS developer Matt Dilloin is remaking FreeBSD into something that looks and acts like AmigaOS.
Apparently DragonFly BSD supports 32- and 64-bit Intel and its internal architecture gets closer to how the old AmigaOS used to work with every release. Eventually the goal is to run legacy Amiga apps natively.
Thoughts? After being disappointed by AmigaOS 4, DragonFly BSD looks like it might offer something more promising. (Just think: AmigaOS on four cores running eight threads at 3.4 GHz
