Yo

I keep getting a "not a valid DOS disk" error when I try to install zeewolf. Is this because I am trying to do it through emulation?

I own the original disk. So I was trying to use an unpatched version.

I should mention that I have installed the installerNG too

did a fresh install and found it was installerng that was causing issues... never mind.
