Peter Molyneux - yep that's a great example. I visited the Bullfrog offices as they were developing the Amiga version of Populous in the small upstairs office in Guildford. The floor was strewn with Lego blocks which they were using to plan the landscaping technique, and I distinctly remember they had a fish tank with piranhas in.
I spent a good few hours there talking about the various graphics techniques they were using and spoke at length to
Simon Hunter one of their artists.
