Here's something that appears to have been introduced during the beta cycle since I can't reproduce it in 2.3.0 no matter what.
This is "Megademo" by Red Sector Inc. (not that it needs introduction) and it will stop working during the first loading screen (see screenshot above). The upper scrolling text enters an infinite loop, and so does background music, thus it will not advance to the decrunching screen, let alone the rest of the demo.
How to reproduce:
. Use default settings + CE
. Make sure the disk image is inserted BEFORE starting emulation. If you get to see the kickstart logo, the demo will work just fine.
I tried several adf's/dms' and every single version behaved just the same. The savestate, however, was recorded specifically with RSI Megademo (1989)(RSI)(Disk 1 of 2).adf (CRC32:05ADF013)
