The problem is that the filesystem supplied with WB3.1 is a bit rubbish with long file names - unless the CD is burned with amiga Rockridge extensions all the filenames are truncated to 8.3 which is rubbish.

Probably the easiest way to transfer whdload packs like this is to bundle them up into zip archives of about 650MB or so each, then burn them to a cd-r using imgburn and set the filesystem to ISO9660. So you have one huge zip file the size of a cd on your cd. The big zip file will have its filename truncated to 8.3 on the cd.

Simply unzip it again on the amiga side. All the long filenames inside the zip file are preserved.
