I'm after a little bit of advice.

I opened my CDTV up tonight and it is a revision 2.3 board (last).

Now, slap bang in the middle is a flash board for the PROM's which is blocking me from installing an Indivision and the Elbox 2MB fast ram upgrade!

What can I do to aleviate this? Can the flash board be removed and just stick the PROM's in their sockets? The PROM's are actually situated under the flash board itself and I think they are soldered direct which is going to be a pain in the arse. Does anyone know if I could obtain pre-programmed PROM's so I can pull the flash board and put the new PROMs in place? Can the CDTV work without this board?

I will pay someone to do this if they have the know-how and experience with the CDTV in this area! Just name your price as it's been doing my head in all night wondering how to get round it!
