It's not popular but it's the truth, The only way to sell hardware at an acceptable price is to make it x86 based. Nobody wants a $1000 motherboard to run AOS and linux. 20+ years of PC vendors fighting it out has dropped the price such that nothing else can compete in the consumer space. That's the real reason Apple switched to x86.

Hyperion needs to stop hitching their wagon to these one-off hardware makers if they want the os to survive. I seriously hope Hyperion is porting AOS4 to x86. In fact they should go straight to a 64bit OS (x86-64). Even an ARM port would be good... Amiga powered iPad type thingie...

I'm also seriously considering a natami to get a retro fix
