Hi,

You'll need a flicker fixer like the DCE Flicker Magic or Indivson AGA and then you should bet a nice flicker free picture. (It should work on the 1084 as they de-interlace the signal however I've not personally tested it)

I would suggest this setup with a CRT Monitor anyway for the best results or you could try an LCD Monitor but not all of them will work 100% with the above flicker fixers.

If you are going to stick with the 1084 I'd suggest using Classic Workbench Full, I know its not as pretty but it is setup for the non interlaced screen modes.
