Didn't think it'd be made possible this soon (or even at all) - but it's been done.
Installed the Hotfix 2-package and then executed the new script op_lcdrate.sh (with '50' as parameter).
Just played Turrican (fullspeed incl. sound) with perfectly smooth 50Hz-scrolling. On a handheld.
