I think the VIC 20 was a lighter colour, so maybe he ripped the badge off of a C64 and slapped it onto a VIC 20? .. lol

Actually there was a lighter shade of "breadbox" called C-64G.. It was mainly sold in europe (germany in particular) as a kind of a bridge model between the brown/beige box we all know and the newer wedge-shaped C-64C.. Hardware-wise it was a mixed batch of old PCB's left over from the old breadbox and the earlymodel PCB's of the newer design..
As a curiosity factor, there were also just plain lighter shade cases (no electronics inside or keyboard) being sold to people who wanted to change their C-64's case to match the lighter colour of the 1541C disk drive intended to be coupled with the C-64C..
