Record demos to avi automatically

I'm having this crazy thought about recording a lot of amiga demos to use with http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/index.php?pageid=previews My thought was to have a video preview of 20-30 seconds of a demo/cracktro. I've spent a lot of time lately recording WHDLoad games, 600 currently. These video previews obiously needs a lot of human interraction to get an interesting video. However with demos this could be made automatic.

My thought is something like:

Have a bunch of adf/exes in a folder. For each one of these files, do the following:

  • Launch WinUAE with the file, setting the output to [name of file].avi and start the emulation.
  • After about one minute, quit the emulator
So any thoughts about this? Anyone knows of any software that could do this? Otherwise I might have to make a small program myself.
