He's kinda correct. The VGA port on SX32 is not a scandoubler. When playing games it has a 15KHz video output incompatible with most VGA monitors. But this doesn't matter if you have a 15KHz capable monitor.

AFAIK the 23-pin RGB port and the VGA port on the SX32 are identical. They are wired to the same connections inside the CD32. They are just different shaped connectors so you do not need an adapter.
