You couldn't really back in the old days. You had the insanely expensive SX1, SX32 and SX32 pro all beyond most mortal's pocket money.

These now cheap CD32fWSI devices being sold today by Analogic were not on sale back then. Tens if not hundreds of them seemed to have lived in a cupboard for 14 years

Shame no-one has made a cheap 4Mbyte RAM upgrade for them to replace the clock module. It would be very cheap and very easy.
