Depends on the save game obviously. The NVRAM is only 1024 BYTES so it is very very small.

AFAIK few (no?) WHDload slaves support high-scores or saves to NVRAM.

StingRay did a few (non WHDload?) CD32 ports with NVRAM saves (via nonvolatile.library ?) and button re-mapping.
