I've always found that the speed at which the sound played at was most closely linked to the refresh rate (I think the Sound and Video is processed by the same chipset on an Amiga. Makes sense...I suppose? ). I find setting the refresh rate (found under the Display Tab, Amiga Screen Resolution) to 50 or 60 Hz helps, failing that use Default. If WinUAE automatically tries to assign 100 or 120 Hz, that's when the sound gets speeded up. Fiddle about with the sound buffer size until the sound is okay, maybe the delay slider too.
