Looking real good. I've always liked messing about with renderers since I first tried Real 3D 1.3 on the Amiga, but I was more into materials and lighting and have never had the patience to do detailed models like these.

Are you rendering with an unbiased renderer or does Maya calculate a radiance map or some other general GI solution? How long does the calculation pass take, and how long for rendering successive frames after that?
