Hmmm... I thought we had done this to death.

UV can degrade the polymer and that is unavoidable, however, we are using low strength peroxide with a catalyst and Uv to target the oxygens attached to the brominated flame retardant in the plastic whilst leaving the polymer unaffected. If you do it right, that's exactly what you get from the process. We are talking about an effect that is only a couple of microns thick, therefore you should see little effect on the structural strength of the plastic.

If you don't want to do it, that's your call......
