I would love a SAM440E, but you are soooooo right...the cost is just insane for such useless (just for fun) hardware!!!!
Once the Chinese start cloning & selling it for a decent price, then I might buy one
Of course, I'm all for supporting new developments, but I think the pricing of the SAM is driven purely by the special/rare factor only, not development costs!
