I love a good diagram
Recently though its apparent that not all implementations of SCART are carried across europe, as some have discovered lately, so if anyone has trouble getting Anemos's diagram working then consider this as another option..

this particular schematic differes in wiring up the +12volt line
requiring a 1 kOhm resistor connected to Pin 8 from the +12
requiring a 150 Ohm resistor connected to pin 16 from the +12
