quakeII works just as well without screaming fps (around 15-20 on bppc) , but shogo/heretic2 suffer quite badly although i pushed through and finished h2. shogo was to much
its only in the most recent games (last 3-4 years??) where low fps kills the game as the old games actually skipped frames to keep game speed moving. now they have to show every frame so low fps kills them.
i never got 3d support working with voodoo way back then, so for me it turned out better on amiga then pc
this is one game that runs very nice even on cheapest amiga ppc hardware.
Imnot pushing to support ppc emu by the way.. just saying what it was like when i cared to use the miggy. emulating the miggy environment every now n again is plenty for my amiga fix now on speedy pc
