Because I enjoy using it and I don't need to kid myself into believing it's alive to justify it. I would be willing to bet good money that most of the 2,000 members on here feel the same way. Do users of 8-bit computers believe their platforms are alive? How about the old consoles?

Every month I read a mag like Retro Gamer and I see a new 8-bit game reviewed, and news of others in development. Check a site like to see an example of this. In comparison, Amiga development (not OS4, the "proper" Amiga hardware) is very quiet. New games and demos are released occasionally but not as often.
